So pleased to see this site. My family is originally from Drombane-Upperchurch. Family names are Corcoran and Fogarty. My great grandfather, James Patrick Corcoran whom I was lucky enought to remember & know was born 1862 to John Corcoran & Bridget (Fogarty) Corcoran. He & his brother Phillip Corcoran came to Syracuse NY. They married 2 sisters, Johanna & Bridget Bradshaw with whom they were cousins. I grew up with Julia & Anna Fogarty my great-great cousins who often traveled back home to visit their married sister. I brought my 2 boys Mike & Bill Colt to Drombane in 2008 and we all fell in love with the people and country. It is wonderful to be able to read & know more about the town & area. I hope to be back in 2013 for a couple of weeks. If anyone has any history about the families, Corcoran, Fogarty & Bradshaw, please feel free to email me! I’d love to hear more!
Much happiness & health to you all.
