The 2010 Walking Weekend takes place on 5th. 6th & 7th November. Our brochure is now available with all the details and can be downloaded from this site or you can request copies via telephone 0504-54443/54959. This year we have a Poster Competition with 3 categories, Primary School, Second Level and Adults, with prizes in each category. An entry will be chosen for our 2011 Walking Weekend Poster.
The Walking Weekend commences on Friday night 5th November with the official opening and talks by some interesting guest speakers.

The 2011 Walking Weekend takes place on 12th & 13th November. There is a monthly guided walk on the last Sunday of every month commencing at 12.30 p m. On Sunday 13th February next we have a sponsored walk in aid of a South African township. All events are usually posted on the web site in advance. All three looped walks are suitable for beginners. The Birchill Trail is a low level walk, while the Eamon an Chnoic has a bit of a climb at the beginning.
